All oral presentations are scheduled for exactly 20 minutes including Q&A. Please try to limit your presentation within 15 minutes, in order to allow sufficient time for discussion with the audience.
Please be on time at the session room, and please inform your session chair(s) about your presence. For brief introduction, you are requested to submit a short biography to session chair(s) beforehand. It should describe your academic and professional careers, in addition to current research areas.
The poster session will take place on October 14th from 18:00 until 19:30. The size of a poster board provided for each poster presentation is 0.9m width x 1.8m high. The poster board allows A0-size posters (841x1189 mm) maximum. The author(s) should set up the poster at least 15 minutes before the session starts, and they MUST present in front of their poster during the whole poster session.
The poster introduction session will also take place on October 14th from 13:00 until 14:40. During the poster introduction session, each poster presenter will be given 3 minutes to introduce their poster.
M. C. Natori Award for the Best Poster Presentation will be presented to first authors of poster presentations who are 35 years old or younger. A recipient of the Award will be carefully selected by international judges, based on the poster contents and discussions with the first author during the Poster sessions.
The winner/winners will be announced during the conference dinner on 15th of October, 2015. In addition, 50,000 yen will be given to him/her as a supplementary prize.
Both oral and poster presentations: Full paper submission
The deadline for the submission of a 10-12 page full version of your paper is October 12, 2015. The paper should be submitted in electronic PDF format, following the paper format instructions posted on the conference website: http://www.icast2015.com/papers.html.
All papers should be written in English. In addition, all papers need to be accompanied by the ICAST copyright release form, found also at the website. Every author needs to authorize this form, in order for the manuscript to be indexed and stored electronically.
